Chocolate. Coconut. Crunchy. Gooey. Whatever your tummy desires, you can find it in a Bliss Ball. These superfood packed balls will keep you fueled for your yoga class, studies, or just help you with your chocolate craving (like myself)
Note: please take these recipes as guidelines as you can alter them to fit your individual taste buds!
The process is simple, but you will need a high speed blender or food processor. Throw all the dry ingredients in, pulse until they have blended together, but still chunky. Add wet ingredients, process until a sticky, chunky paste is formed. Using your hands, mold into bite size balls. Don’t forget to stock your Van’s fridge with them, and enjoy!
Lemon/Coconut Bliss Balls
1 cup of Shredded Coconut 4 (soaked and pitted) dates Juice from one medium to large lemon 1/2 cup of oats 1 tablespoon of soaked flax seed 2 tablespoons of coconut oil. Optional: Add desired amount of honey or maple syrup for a sweeter bite.
Chocolate/ pistachio Bliss Balls
1 cup of rolled oats 1 cup of cacao powder 1tablespoon of Chia or hemp seed (or both!) 8 (soaked and pitted) dates 2 tablespoons coconut oil 1 tablespoon of nut butter 1/4 cup pistachios
